Thank you to everyone who entered Show Us Your Shelburne, and to everyone who voted. The winners are in. Six works were honored, with thanks to every artist who entered. Meet the winners.
About the contest
Every summer, the Shelburne Farmers Market brings the whole town together on the Parade Grounds. This year, we're inviting the community to help create something lasting: an original piece of art that captures the spirit of Shelburne and a season at the Market. Anyone could enter. Six works were honored, and winning artwork is showcased on a limited run of Market merchandise and on the Market website. This is the inaugural year of what will be an annual community art contest, celebrating each new season at the Market.
Who can enter
Everyone is welcome — neighbors of every age, longtime residents and newcomers alike. We especially encourage Shelburne residents and the many artists and makers who are part of our community. Young artists are welcome too; entrants under 18 just need a parent or guardian's permission.
What to create
Create an original piece of art that celebrates what makes Shelburne special — our farms and makers, the landscape, the community, the feel of a Saturday at the Market. Work in any medium you like: paint, drawing, photography, digital art, or collage. Two simple rules: the work must be your own, and it should be welcoming to all members of our diverse community.
The fine print
By entering, you confirm the artwork is your own original work — not copied, traced, or AI-generated, and free of others' logos or characters — and you give the Market permission to display it and to reproduce the winning pieces on merchandise and in promotion.
Entrants under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent.
Entries that don't meet the guidelines won't move to the voting round.

How the winners are chosen
The Market's vendorsThe farmers, makers, and artists who bring the Market to life each cast a single vote. The artist with the most votes wins the Market category.
EveryoneAnyone can cast a People's Choice vote — one vote per person. The artist with the most public votes wins the People's Choice category.
In each category, the entry placing second in the vote is the runner-up. Every entry is reviewed first by the selection committee — SFM's Stewards and Champions — who confirm it meets the contest guidelines before the voting round opens.
