The basics
Hours and season
Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 16 through October 17. Shelburne Day runs 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on August 15.
Location
Shelburne Parade Grounds, in the village center. From Route 7, turn onto Church Street — we're on the Parade Grounds.
Parking
We encourage all market goers to walk or bike to the market, if possible. The next best option is use the free Town and Library lots directly across Shelburne Road from the market. Church Street fills up early. Please don't park in Falls Road travel lanes or shoulder — posted and enforced — and respect the customer-only parking of our neighboring businesses. See the parking map below for all options.
How to pay
Each vendor handles their own sales. Most take cash; many take cards; some take Venmo. Bring a mix.
We accept SNAP/EBT — look for the EBT terminal at the market. Swipe your card, choose an amount, and receive tokens to spend at any vendor. Questions?
Accessibility
Sidewalks around the Parade Grounds are ADA-compliant. Accessible parking on Church Street. The market itself sits on grass — plan accordingly. Public restrooms available across the street at the Pierson Library and Town Offices.
First time?
Bring your own bags. Arrive before 11 for the best selection. Stop by the Experience Shelburne booth to say hi and grab a market map. Leashed dogs welcome. Rain or shine.
Explore the village
Bookshops, bakeries, and a 45-acre museum — all within walking distance of the Parade Grounds. Extend your Saturday into the village.
Visit the Farm Stores
You met the farms on the Parade Grounds. Now visit their farms — farm stands, sugarhouses, and pick-your-own fields, all within minutes of the Parade Grounds.
