What You’ll Find at Our Booth

Maple syrup in three flavors, bottled in glass and plastic, alongside raw unfiltered honey from hives kept near pesticide-free orchards and alfalfa fields. Beef is grass-fed and rotationally grazed; pigs arrive each spring, are raised through the fall without growth hormones, and are cut into chops, roasts, sausage and bacon. The laying hens and broiler chickens are cage-free and pasture-raised, which accounts for the eggs and poultry.

The Atkins family has worked the same land at the base of Mt. Ellen in Lincoln since 1878. Victor and Ashley run the farm today with their four children, Brittany, Natalie, Aiden and Wesley; Victor is the fifth generation to operate it, and recently moved to farming full time. They have been making maple syrup since the early 1900s, back when horses and buckets brought the sap in from the trees — it now arrives by tubing and passes through a reverse osmosis machine before boiling. In the spring of 2022 the family opened a farmstand in a garage originally built to store a Model T, and also sells through an online store.
