Fifth Season Canvas is a one-person bag shop in Middlebury, where Ariel Ogden designs and sews bicycle bags and accessories from waxed canvas, hemp, leather, and brass. The bags are built to be weatherproof, repairable, and long-lasting: waxed canvas can be re-waxed at home, and at the end of a bag's life the canvas and leather compost while the brass hardware can be recycled. Ogden also sews no-waste wallets from the offcut corners of larger bags.
